  • I will work to build a stronger community by making sure that my community get the services they deserve. Ward One needs more parks, more schools as well as more businesses, so that our families can live, socialize and play. It takes an average of 8 minutes’ drive to get a coffee or go grocery shopping from ward one. In order to get these issues fixed, we need a leader who is a team player like me, who understands these needs and is ready to fold the sleeves to get it done
  • With the aftermath of the covid-19 pandemic, the dynamics of the world have changed. With that said, we need a leader that comes in with an agile mindset to prepare and position our city (Cambridge) for the future, by welcoming new technology, new jobs, new economy, and new ways of doing business, and I am that leader who can get it done. By partnering with the Smart Waterloo Region’s Information Hub (SWRIH), this technological and optimization concept will improve services, cut cost, and increase transparency and above all an increase in the bottom line within our community.
  • My vision will be to work tirelessly with other councillors to make sure the tax dollars of my community are put to better use. This will be done by listening to my people and prioritizing their needs in building a better community. Our city needs good infrastructure, good roads, good parks, good recreational facilities for everyone and promotion and building of better health care facilities.

  • We need to build bridges with other wards and their councillors, as their support is required to get my community projects passed.

  • Within the first month I will hold regular meetings with my ward. I expect to get a location where we will be able to meet monthly and share ideas / propositions. I will come to the communities and vow to be the most accessible councillor.

With regards to the incumbent’s weaknesses, I have to commend and appreciate her for being there during the unprecedented times (Covid-19 pandemic). As a community, we can only continuously build and grow from where she is going to leave and that is where leaders like myself with an agile mindset step in with smart ideas to continue from her shortcomings

Thank you so much for your question Sir. The city council has some tools available in their capacity to fight cyber-crime. Should you elect me as your Councilor I will organize a Cyber-Crimes Awareness Campaign (CCAC) on a yearly bases to sensitize and educate my ward on the issue.

In 2020 due to a spike in cyber-crimes, The Waterloo Regional Police Services launched “the Cyber Crime Awareness Campaign in efforts to educate sensitize the public against many forms of cyber-crime viz: Internet Child Exploitation, Password and Privacy, Phishing/SmSishing, Ransomware and cyber bullying

In addition to the resources above there are many other online safety tips sites:

  • Get Cyber Safe website and cyber Tip website.
  • For information on removing pictures and videos and additional resources visit: Need Help Now website
  • NetSmartz Workshop is It is an interactive, educational program of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
  • For information on specific social media platforms visit the Safe Smart Social website.
  • There is also an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids thrive in a world of media and technology –  Common Sense Media website

The above information is valid and useful to our communities if and only if we create an awareness campaign, and if you vote me come Oct 24, I promise to hold a yearly campaign to educate my ward and will cooperate with other councilors to pass regulations that will put in stricter regulations.
